Dispute resolution
The rights of clients who are considered consumers in relation to a lawyer as a provider of legal services (i.e. natural persons who do not deal with the lawyer within the scope of their business activities or the independent exercise of their profession) are governed, among others, by Act No. 634/1992 Coll., on Consumer Protection, as amended, and by Regulation (EU) No. 524/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council on online dispute resolution for consumer disputes.
The body authorized for out-of-court resolution of disputes between a lawyer and a consumer client arising from contracts on the provision of legal services is:
